I am not a massive black liner person. My collection did not even contain a gel liner untill recently. I had an ebay one 3 years back but that was it.
On a whim, I decided I *needed* a gel liner for making up my friend for a modelling gig.
I picked up
Catrice gel liner for roughly € 4 and I am now a convert. These pictures are from my very first trial with the product and it performed beautfully. Smooth application and crisp lines.
And just to be more vampy and awesome, I slapped a dark lipstick one. Discontinued shade by Catrice, it's the After Work Wine.
I have a picture of me wearing this lipstick on my fb and I keep getting comments telling me how amazing it looks. Unfortunetely it's not a longlasting product, it migrates quite a lot.

Yay gel liner! I love mine. I used to use one back in the day when I was first getting into makeup but it wasn't very good and was drying out+hard to remove. I loved the control and versatility though so I got one again a few months ago and have been using it a lot. I even turned my younger sister on to it :) This is an awesome look! I love doing a pop of color on the lower lashline. And yes, that lippie looks amazing on yoU!
ReplyDeleteI've used green on my lower lashline before but this spring I want to try brighter colours on the lower lashline with just black liquid liner on the upper lashline - perfect pop of colour without being too bold
ReplyDelete@Emily: i think it will be hard to go back to liquid liner but, I am sure, having o wash liner brushes all the time will have me back to luquid in no time.
