Simple smokey eyes, using Sweetscents eyeshadow, Midnight Burgundy.
Applied wet, blended out with white eyeshadow.
No eye countour this time.
The shape is rounded, but slightly blended out to a defined V.
I had such a hard time trying to catch the true beauty of this eyeshadow on photos.

Dark purple I am a total sucker for :) When I'm browsing for make-up I always gravitate to purples and plums. For a dark smokey eye, I prefer it over
black.
And what is your favourite color to substitute black for a smokey look?

I love the look you've gone for and I try to opt for colours other than black for a smokey eye look as much as possible - I'll usually go for greys or greens cos they work with my eye colour but still really stand out :)
