Hey there, good lookin' !
As you may know, I adore dark smokey eyes, purple shades in particular.
So here's another purple smokey using mineral make-up.
The key to this look is to use a base that allows you to blend well. For me, drying primers are out of the question, the base needs to be able to move on the skin, thus blending out the shade on top perfectly.

Products used:
Alverde cream concealer as my base
Sweetscent Midnight Burgundy Mineral Eyeshadow
Barry M Dazzle Dust in Cherry Red the crease but layered over the blended-out Midnight Burgundy.
Everday Minerals eyeshadow for the inner corner highlight.
The look required a loooooooot of blending and I even had to clean up my whole face with make-up remover before putting foundation on.

The Dazzle Dust is actually bright shimmery fuchsia color, but it blended into a very interesting shade
this time

@Ina
hehe, hang tight, ina's heartbeat :P
this looks awesome! You have some serious skill when it comes to blending- I couldn't have done this look on someone without getting pissed and having to restart over again. I like how it's dramatic but if I saw it on someone during the day it would still look very wearable
This is ridiculously beautiful :O I LOVE the reddened purple of the crease and the sparkly lid. Almost looks like there's a super super super fine glitter there.
@David
Thank you.
well, I did get a stupid amount of fall out, you can see the crisp line on the outer corner as a result of clean-up :D.
I had to clean my cheeks all the way to my temples. Twas crazy.
I'd say it's wearable, at least for me with my hooded eyes and glasses you can only see the liner anyway:D
@SilhouetteScreams
aww, thanks =)
Hmmm, now that you mentioned, I think I patted a shadow on the top which had fine burgudny glitter.
Will have to check my stash.
So pretty! You did an amazing job on this look! Love your blending skills!
@The Peach

ermm, it takes more time than skills :P
