Spring Lilac

Hey, everyone

It's April and I'm down for april showers but there hasn't been much rain, just really murky and cloudy days that are drifting into weeks. is rather depressing, I do have to be honest. And it made me set my white balance on ''cloudy'' which was a fail because
my skin looks a tad too orange in a few of the pictures below.

My little palette of colors I'm trying to use up is proving to be quite useful this time of year as the colors are, accidentally, very springish. I had a pale green-gold eyeshadow that was annoying me, so I frakened it with some  purple mineral samples that were in neglected baggies and feeling sorry fot themselves. It turned out to be a shimmery lilac color and I'm wearing it on the lid.

Now, the liner for this was interesting. I used an eyeshadow. I've talked about Kiko before and I used the said shadow in looks that you can view HERE.  What's so interesting about it? It's a gel :D I was worried it would be to sheer but it works perfectly.

And for a change, I used a shimmery highlight under the brows which is something I normally choose not to do. I just don't like it. But it photographed nicely so I'm not complaninig :D

This is so pretty! I really love that liner: dark but not harsh like black.
