Layering

Hey guys =)

This is a look inspired by the gorgeous Wendi of Make-up Zombie. When I think of her looks, the first thing that pops up to my conscious level is purple with blue. This is how it turned out on my eyeshape which is much more almond-ish than hers.

To achieve these color, I had to layer quite a bit, by using mainly one palette and a loose eyeshadow sample.

Products used

  1. Gosh loose e/s in Paradise
  2. Sleek I-divine palette in Chaos

How I did it

Over the entire upper mobile lid, I put down the Gosh eyeshadow which is a very shimmery greenish gold.
I then used the navy indigo matte blue eyeshadow from the Sleek Chaos palette on top of it. What I got was a darkened teal color with a slight sheen.

After that I went for the matte burgundy color from the Chaos palette. This was placed in the crease. I did as much blending as I could take it.
Aftet that I layered the matte black shadow, however, I concentrated it mostly in the deep crease. Didn't stop me from blending it out, though. So I ended up with a purple crease.

Looks slighlty messy because I was wearing mascara priror to this MU application and I also wore a different shadow look that day that I swept off using Melvita micellar water.

And Wendi has the curliest lashes imaginable. It's impossible for me to recreate those :)
Hope it's an ok look, I kind of feel this doesnt really represent what what I can do. Yet it's nice to be out of my comfort zone once in a while.

=)

Sicer nima nobene veze, ampak sem kot otrok imela dva enaka modela puloverja različnih barv. En je bil žametno vijola, drugi žametno zelen, oba temna.

Taka barvna kombinacija me spomni na tiste puloverčke in jih začnem kar pograšat :D
