Lily Lolo Miami Taupe

Miami Taupe Lily Lolo is a satin finish taupe color that is more of a neutral. Taupes are in between brown and grey, with this one I'd say its not brown nor grey, neutral rather.

I had such high hopes for this eyeshadow. When I first saw it in it's sample baggie looking all cute I got really excited. I don't own many taupes that would be this shade. But I was really disappointed.
Like I said, in the baggie it looked absolutely love. See proof below.

As far as swatches go, Miami Taupe showed no issues. Smooth application, but somewhat sheer when applied wet and finger swatched. I got best results over a primer. Now, I have fair skin so this work out great for me. Deeper skintones I'd advise to stay away.

Still looking at the picture I think this is just such a beautiful shade.

Well, some shades swatch better than they apply. Unfortunately, Miami Taupe is one of them. The problem I had with it on my eyes was that I couldn't get it to stick over a primer. I just wouldn't adhere. But it adhered on the swatch picture! I swear, I tried it 3 times.

The texture of this shadow is drier than others and I have extremely dry lids so this my very common problem with mineral make-up.
The shade is among topsellers and i can see why. It's beautful and a neutral girl's favorite.

But for dry lids, it's too much of a hassle. And if you have darker skin, I wouldn't bother with this one.

This product gets a thumb down for me.
